Thank you so much for your interest in Words for Change! We're so excited to have you here, and we hope to be a home for your work! 

To submit to us, email writingwordschangingworlds@gmail.com with the genre of your submission in the subject title. (Ex. "Fiction Submission") We accept fiction, poetry, and nonfiction submissions (including creative nonfiction, and more informative essays). If you're not sure what genre your piece fits under, no worries! Just make the subject of your email "Submission."

Include your submission as a .doc or .docx format

In your email, please talk about how your piece relates to social justice related topics! This explanation can be however short or long as you see fit!

There are no word limits for submissions. Simultaneous submissions are allowed.  
We accept previously published work, as long as you let us know where it's been previously published, and provide proof that that outlet allows republishing. 
If you'd like to publish your work elsewhere after publishing it with us, feel free to do so! Just be sure the outlet you're submitting to allows previously published works. If you do end up published elsewhere after publishing here, let us know! We'd love to support your work on our social medias!
